Frequently asked questions

Is the cotton candy really unlimited?
Yes — it is a flat day rate, not a price per serving. We bring enough sugar for the whole event and keep spinning until it ends. There is no count to keep and no point where you have to tell children the machine is finished.
Who cleans up after the cotton candy?
We do. Sugar dust settles on everything within a couple of metres, which is why we run the machine ourselves, place it sensibly, and clean the area before we leave.
How far ahead do I need to order a cake?
A week is comfortable for most designs; allow longer for a large tiered cake or detailed sculpted figures. Send a reference picture or just describe the idea, tell us how many servings you need, and we come back with a design and a firm price.
Can you work around allergies or dietary requirements?
Yes, but tell us at the design stage rather than after. It affects what we can make and how, and it is much easier to build a cake around a requirement than to adapt one.
Will a cake survive the heat?
With the right finish, yes. Bali heat is hard on buttercream in particular, so we advise on a finish that suits your venue and on where to keep the cake until it is cut. Say whether the event is indoors or in a garden when you order.
