Custom event backdrops in Bali

The backdrop is the decision the rest of the styling follows. Get it right and the cake table, the balloons and the photographs all line up behind one idea; get it wrong and the room reads as a collection of separate purchases.

We design and build one around your theme — printed panels, an arch, fabric, foliage, or a combination — with the child's name, the age, or whatever message belongs on it worked into the design rather than stuck on afterwards.

How it works

  1. Send us the theme, the colours, and any reference images you have.
  2. We come back with a design and a firm price.
  3. We build it on site before your guests arrive, and take it down at the end.

Good to know

  • Tell us where it will stand — indoors, in a garden, against a wall or free-standing changes the build
  • Outdoors we allow for wind; a free-standing backdrop needs weighting
  • Book the balloon decor at the same time and the two are designed together

Do you design around a theme I choose?
That is the whole approach — nothing here is picked from a fixed catalogue. Send the theme, the colours and any reference images, and the backdrop, the balloons and the gifts are designed as one coherent piece rather than three separate purchases.
How do balloons hold up in the Bali heat?
Latex balloons in direct sun expand and pop, so we site the work in shade or build in the cooler part of the day. Indoors an installation comfortably lasts the event and often the day after.
How are the personalised gifts priced?
Per child, so the cost follows your guest list exactly. Personalisation needs lead time: confirm your list of names at least a week ahead.
What space does a sleepover need?
Roughly 1.5 m of floor space per child in one room, a power point for the lighting, and air conditioning or good airflow — a tipi gets warm on a Bali night. Tell us the room and the number of children and we will confirm it fits.
Who takes the sleepover down?
We do. We arrive in the afternoon to build it and come back the following day to clear everything, so you get the room back as you left it.
